Lady of the Sunshine

Not being a great lover of the cold, hubby & I skipped town for a little Sunny Coast sojourn with our mates. The past five days have been filled with plenty of pina coladas & margaritas, far too much delicious food, sunny strolls on the esplanade & many laughs with great friends. 

Back to the daily grind as of tomorrow... Queensland, it's been fun.

Feeling a little "Mad Men" in my vintage minty dress from Thread People. Ok, so you'll have to excuse the iPhone I'm holding in one of the pics - oops! Hey, I'm just an old fashioned gal trying to get by in a modern world!

Thread People is an online shopping destination that offers the coolest brands at heavily discounted prices. They search the globe for the sweetest sales around & not only do they offer premium fashion & street wear labels but also the very best vintage finds. My minty dress above is from the vintage section & I simply adore it! As you can see it puts me in a Mad Men slash Hitchcock kinda mood...

I came across this article on All Women Stalk the other day & it's had me thinking... which fictional characters would I most love to have coffee with...? In no particular order, here's my five:

I'd be a complete & utter liar if I didn't include Mr Darcy here.
